Fundraiser for the Stroke Unit Ward 3B Friday 10th February 2023

 
In conjunction with Mr Peter Falvey and the Upper Glanmire Community Association we are holding a table quiz in aid of the Stroke UnitWard 3B in the Cork University Hospital (CUH) in the Boothouse Bar Upper Glanmire at 8pm.
 
On 25th July 2022 Peter Falvey suffered a devastating stroke at home and was admitted to the Stroke Unit Ward 3B in CUH with limited mobility and we were informed that his rehabilitation would take months and the future was very uncertain for him.  Due to Peters determination, the exceptional staff and the support of his family and friends Peter walked out of the hospital on the 28th of September after 10 weeks.  As a family we will be forever grateful for this Unit and the support to our father and we would like to contribute towards some equipment to help other patients with their rehabilitation.
