Ingredients
- 7 ounces self-raising Flour
- 5 ounces Oatmeal
- 4 ounces Butter
- 1 teaspoon Bread Soda
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 ounce Sugar
- Crushed nuts and seeds (optional)
- 2 Eggs%
- Buttermilk

Combine all the dry ingredients

Work in the butter with your finger tips

Beat eggs with a little buttermilk and start to combine mixture

Add enough buttermilk to bring together to a soft dough

Roll out to about an inch in height and cut out scones

Brush with some of the egg/milk and sprinkle with oatmeal or seeds

Set Oven at 180°- 200°C

Put scones into the oven for about 12 minutes until golden brown
