Method

    1. Combine all the dry ingredients
    2. Work in the butter with your finger tips
    3. Beat eggs with a little buttermilk and start to combine mixture
    4. Add enough buttermilk to bring together to a soft dough
    5. Roll out to about an inch in height and cut out scones
    6. Brush with some of the egg/milk and sprinkle with oatmeal or seeds
    7. Set Oven at 180°- 200°C
    8. Put scones into the oven for about 12 minutes until golden brown
